Situated in the beautiful Axe Valley along the B3261 (just off the A35), Axe Valley Bird and Animal park is a stones throw away from Lyme Regis. The park is a great family outing where you can walk around and see a variety of birds and animals.Animals you will meet include hand reared RJ the raccoon, Charlie Sapphire and Clara the wallabies, Brucey and Tess the very cute Kune Kune pigs, Meerkats Wren and Rascal and Canadian Tree Porcupines – come and watch them climb high in their tree! Also come and feed a variety of ornamental geese (including black swans) and ducks situated on 3 ponds, see the beautiful birds of prey including owls, and kestrels. Other birds you can see at the park are kookaburras, rare breed chickens, cranes, egrets and many more.
